Question for people with herpes
Question: What made you want to go test? was it the visible sores? or other symptoms such as pain in the gential area? Also, to those who have herpes and had the symptoms of pain or burning feeling in the genital area and/or leg, buttock area.. Can you describe "pain" when you say it as a symptom? Im feeling a sensation in my left testicle, but its not 'pain'... and if most of the people who do in fact have HSV-1 or -2 are asymptomatic, what would drive them to get tested for herpes? Answer: well I'm 27 and got infected by boyfriend what made me want to get testes was I was having pain and discharge and sores that I didnt really notice I also had a fever for two days. I ddint feel normal I felt something was wrong plus it always hurt during the first few time me and my man had sex. I ahd a booklet that had info on all the different deases and I ahd all the symptoms of herpies but I thought it was something esle. so I went to the doctor hopin it was a bladder infection and turned out I ahd two BV and herpies BV is treatable with creams and gose away herpes is treatable but will never fully goaway. At least thats how I feel. Answer: hi, mccool. early september 2003, i found a humongous sore in my vaginal area. at the time, i was friends with a nurse; i showed it to her, and she said that it looked like herpes. she gave me an ointment and told me to use it every time i went to the bathroom. i remember using it extensively. as it was labor day weekend, i had to wait a few days to go to the clinic. when i went, the nurse practitioner tested me through a culture, which came back negative. she wasn't certain if the test was negative because i was truly negative or because i had used the cream. after that any time i had a sore, i ran to the doctor. i did enough research to know that there wasn't any other std that it could be. i also requested frequent std testing to make certain i knew if i had anything or not. good luck! -anie Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
