Menopausal woman on suppresive therapy-HELP!

Question:
I'm looking to talk to a female who has had thier first outbreak that has never stopped. I went into menopause at age 49 and I had my first real symptoms of oral herpes in May 2001 and they never stop. I had to go on suppressive therapy because it became so painful and intolerable. And as I went into chronic insomnia because of menopause, the herpes disseminated on it's own. I have not found anyone to talk to who has chronic outbreaks. I was a health nut for 20 years and menopause has cause so many problems. I feel very alone. I use to be very healthy and never had to take medication for anything. Is there anyone out there who is in the same boat as me? I am on one gram of valtrex daily and if I back off any, I break out. I'm not HIV either. I have tried every natural remedy and valtrex is the only thing that has helped.
Thanks, Melinda

Answer:
Hi Melinda,
This is Black Orchid. I left a reply about your request to talk to a female who can relate on some level. My reply letter is in the "Talk about it" section under heading "Let's get it in the open". Maybe that letter might be helpful in finding someone to talk with. I am wanting the same thing
