Looking for a doctor that specialises in Herpes.
Question: Hi, Can anybody recommend a doctor in Southern California that specializes in Herpes, in my case it is Oral HSV-1. Thank you. Answer: Try checking out the Herpes Support Groups and see if you can dig up a herpes aware doctor. You can also try taking a look at my Herpes Doctors page. Hope this helps, Angela Answer: Thanks, Angela. I was diagnosed with oral HSV-1 a couple of weeks ago and now after reading some of the posts about the test that my doctor recommended (that was IgG) I think that I might want to re-test. Even though my result was high - 4.7, form what I understand with this particular test I can not even be certain that it detects the type accurately. I will appreciate your opinion about it, or anybody else who will not mind to reply. Thanks. Answer: Thanks, Angela. Angela  Answer: Angela, I want to make sure I understood your reply. So, you are saying that IGG is an accurate test? In this case I do not need to re-test. I was considering Western Blot test. Do you thing I can still benefit from getting the Western Blot test done? Thank you. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
