Newly single...

Question:
Well my man and I are divorcing.
I gave the virus to him b4 we got married so we had it together.
Now I'm worried about dating again because I have never had to deal with it. I have no clue what to do or say. I'm afraid to get close to anyone. How can you know if someone has something? It's not something people go bragging about.
Sometimes I wish people were labeled so we would know.
Sometimes I think me and the man should stay together just so we don't have to go through the hell of finding partners. But that wouldn't happen because for me, the love is not there, and I don't want to be with him.
Ugh, this sucks. I need to find people on the east coast...

Answer:
Girl, I know exactly how you feel. I am in the same situation as you. I am afraid to get extremely close to anyone, for fear of one day giving them herpes. Even when your using condomns, that only lasts so long. After time, your partner would want to stop using condomns, then what? Eventually, even if it took years, you can pass herpes to someone, like suppose you didn't know you were having an outbreak? I am afraid to get close to someone because what if, after some time you told them you had herpes and they didn't want to be with you? I don't like situations like that, because of fear of the whole world finding out, you know? Maybe you could find some websites for singles with herpes and go from there. Me, I just bought a vibrator and called it a day. But hey, don't let my words discourage you, please don't. You may find someone who accepts and loves you for who you are, and can deal with it. Lets just pray for each other, and hopefully Mr Right will fall into both of our lives and accepts us.
