new to this
Question: Hi everyone, I'm new to this. I was just diagnosed with herpes and have already had 3 breakouts! The outbreaks have been extremely painful. My boyfriend has been great about it. I was just wondering if it was normal to become very moody during these times. It seems right before a breakout and during it I get so mean worse than PMS. Anyone know if it's normal? Thanks! Answer: well, I do know that you may feel lethargic, nausea or even flu-like or feverish... but mood swings? don't think so... Answer: I find I get irritable and self conscious about having a breakout, but I doubt it has anything to do with the virus. Just my own insecurity and annoyance that I'm stuck with this virus for the rest of my life. It just sucks. Answer: Hi, I just found out that I have herpes and I really don't know how to tell my boyfriend. I think he might of given it to me but I am not 100% sure. I am scared on how he will react. Any word of adv. Thank you Answer: i dont know where to go for this but i'll put it here. does anyone know what the success rate of infection is when oral sex is done w/the infected person having a cold sore? is it 100% ? Answer: Jaz, I just found out I have HSV 2, and I waited for a week to go by before telling my boyfriend. He knew I was sick and not feeling well, so that part was pretty easy to talk about, but telling him a had an STD was a different story all together. I just told him that I need to talk to him and was calm and had sometime to think about what I was going to do and say. I kind of rehursted it a little and went though with it. In my mind I had all the horrible situations or things that could happen and played all these tapes in my head of what would happen, and he was fine with it. He said it did not change the way he felt about me, and was willing to stay with me and support me though this time in my life. Now, I can't say that things have been easy in our relationship, but we are working at it and I think that with time and communicaiton things will work out. One thing for sure we are a lot closer. So, don't freak yourself out about it. Just look online and there are web sites that kind of give you some hints on how to tell a boyfriend or girlfriend, wait for the right time, and go for it. Whats the worst that could happen, they freak out or maybe stay.....give it a shot. And keep your head up..... Good luck, Superfly Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
