Cold sores? How about HOT sores?
Question: Why are oral herpes called COLD sores? And why doesn't genital herpes have a pet name? How about HOT sores? Genital herpes needs a "pet name" so there will be less stigma and people will accept it more. Wait a minute.....that's why it spreads more! Maybe this is why a lot more people have "cold sores" than "genital herpes". So how about we get rid of the term cold sores!? Less stigma of a pet name leads to more spreading of the disease? Answer: cause people usualy get them when they get a cold? immune system down, herpes outbreak timing perfect Answer: I think there is no disease that deserves a "pet name". Answer: I understand what you mean.....but I promise you that having "cold sores" is not all it is cracked up to be. The stigma associated with both, especially genital herpes is not fair and needs to be dealt with. At least with G-hsv, though, you don't have to wear it on your face for the whole world to know. Answer: lol - if thier is any good thing to it (ghsv), it that it aint noticible to random people... Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
