My story..............

Question:
Ok, i went to the docs in Jan this year, after suffering from mouth ulcers for years, i told him and he said it could be herpes symtoms. I was shocked by this. Then a few wks later, i noticed this clear skin lump appear just above my top lip, and then a month later, another lump came up just at the bottom of my bottom lip, and it came minutes after having a shave, then only the other day, another lump appeared under my bottom lip on the other side, and again it was after having a shave. I told my doc, he prescribed me with acciclovir 800g tablets, and told me to come back if there was no change, and there wasnt, so he sent me to the dermatoligist, she was foreign and wasnt v.good at helping me. She was like how u long u had this disease? I was like what disease, she said where ur getting these mouth ulcers. But what i wanted to talk about was these lumps and how to get rid of them. She looked at my mouth, and said she saw a herpes legsion. Its something i didnt see. Its like a lil bubble on the edge of my lip.
But what are these lumps? are they lesgions?
Well she gave me some cream, but still no improvement.
It's killin me and upsetting my family keep talking about these lumps and how upset i am, that they aint going.

The last girl i slept with was my gf, in Oct last year, we kissed but didnt do oral. I remember she had a form of achne, and i noticed i had more spots and lumps from kissin her, but they faded after a day or two.

We split in oct, but i still speak to her on msn, and i told her about these lumps nr my lips last month, i asked her if she ever had any lumps........she said no!! And she said do u think i give it you? But i dont know, if she did or not.

Can someone help me? And tell me what this is?

Answer:
it sounds like it cauld be HSV1. coldsores.

u need to have a bloodtest done to confirm either way.

Answer:
I don't have coldsores though. Just like these lumps around my mouth.
I've had a bloodtest and it come back fine.

Im worried i might have genital herpes now, i have this lil white blister on the inside of my foreskin........ had it for years and never worried about it.
Could it be genital herpes?

Answer:
oral herpes, as well as genital herpes do NOT ever have to look like classic textbook pictures of what herpes supposedly looks like. While there are many people with either type that get very typical defined "coldsores, or genital sores/blisters there are million who do not. Herpes in either region can be lumps, bumps, blisters, redness, mouth ulcers, clear blisters, irritated looking skin, dry patches around the mouth or genitals, tiny cuts, inflammed lips, or gums, or anything really....its different for every single person so get your mind out of this little thread of hope you are holding on to. A doctor has even said you have a herpes lesion..........a herpes lesion is just that.... A LESION CAUSED BY THE HERPES VIRUS!!! I am sorry to be so blunt but accept the reality.....get a herpes specific blood test and be done with it! Also, i have never had a blister or anything even resembling that, but yet like millions of others who also have not, I have genital herpes... also, I know someone who has oral herpes and they just get redness on the outside of one corner of their mouth....never a blister/lesion....but it is still herpes and still contagious and they understand that they have herpes, though not typically what people picture. I also have had my symptoms never go away and had been physically on me for over a year so it is very possible that just because it doesnt go away that it is indeed herpes still. Depending on your body, your immune system, the location, outbreaks can be continuous and occur without ever having symptoms go away....one after the other without any break in the lumps, or lesions, or redness, which makes it appear to be the same outbreak all the time, which can also happen, but more times it is the virus continuously reactivating on the skin, before the other symptoms have had time to heal and go away. So, PLEASE get a herpes type specific blood test asap and embrace the reality if that is in fact what you have. If in fact it is negative, wait 12 weeks and go back for the same test to be repeated because by then the antibodies should be present.

Can someone help me? And tell me what this is? No, no one here is qualified to tell you what these are exactly. They could be herpes but they could also be apthous ulcers or any one of a number of oral disorders. You need to be tested to set your mind at ease.

Many of these disorders are made worse by stress which is what you're putting yourself through. Knowing for certain will help that out.
