I have read a little bit about your story online and it sounds a lot like mine- I also had a serious relationship with a guy that lasted for almost two years. A year and half into the relationship, after losing my virginity to him, I found out I had herpes. It's been a long journey since that time, almost two years now, and I have come so far. It's wonderful to hear things from another person out there that can have a happy outlook considering the unfair hand life has dealt to us. I also have a positive outlook on it now, thanks to time, a wonderful new boyfriend that has accepted me for who I am and never let my "handicap" stand in the way of loving me, and Valtrex :)
