Hi everyone

I have suffered from Herpes Type 2 for about 5 years and have noticed that in the past year or so, I always seem to get thrush (or something very similar) whenever I have an attack.

Does anyone else have any experience with this, or know why that is? As if it wasn't bad enough having just an outbreak!!

Yes, I had that all the time. Since I started taking Lysine, I've had no more outbreaks. But before that, I always had serious white discharge and massive itching. From what I've read, that's part of the outbreak for some people. My boyfriend said he used to get discharge too
(years ago when he got outbreaks). It was really hard to figure out because the doctors kept thinking it was yeast or bacterial infections.
Are you taking anything that prevents your outbreaks? You may find with a good herpes treatment, that "thrush" will likely go away too.
