Is it possible that you can get genetial herpes without sexual contact, I mean from water or toilet seat? I have herpes on my vagina, but I dont know how I got it, I did not have sex or other sexual contact wit anyone. I heard that you can only get infected if you have skin contact, is it true. Please help me with this information!!!!!!

I know they say they haven't seen any cases yet...but I think I contracted herpes from the tanning bed. I KNOW I went in there after a girl that had herpes...well I didn't know then but I later found out she had herpes. So who knows!! good luck!
