Jojoba Oil and Dynamiclear Q's?
Question: Anyone use this topically? I've been trying purell, and in my research of that I saw a few pages about Jojoba oil. Answer: from what i've read, jojoba oil alone won't do much. there's a patent out there covering jojoba alcohol for the treatment of hsv though http://www.pharmcast.com/Patents100/...rmal022205.htm also, there's another patent for an hsv treatment that contains jojoba in the following formulation... 25% aloe 14% kelp 5% jojoba balance being a carrier... actually, seems pretty easy to make so i'll whip some up now and see what happens. (currently looks like a small ob is about to come on) here's the patent link http://www.freepatentsonline.com/4585656.html Answer: Yeah, I've read that about the oil v. alcohol before. So is there no way to get jojoba alcohol except through the person who has the patent? I'd love to get my hands on some. Answer: You can buy almost any drug or chemical online. I know I have. Anyway, I think we need to find a topical, non-irritating product that will kil hsv on contact. Peroxide and purell are out because they are irritating and will mess up are natural flora. Hbalm and other oils have an odor, while not unpleasant, may clue people in. Also, some oils burn. Betadine works, but is messy and isnt good to have that much iodine all the time. If we can kill the virus as it comes down the nerve, we can prevent outbreaks. Some people think if you do that long enough- for years- you can decrease the amount of latent virus in your nerves. Also, nerves do regenerate and die, just verrrry slowly and not all of them. Science used to tell use nerves dont regenerate, but they do. I myself had pretty bad nerve damage/axon damage all over my body from Lyme disease and I was told it was permanent. As the years pass, my nerves have regenerated and my nerve pain now is very rare where it used to be constant. Anyway, I know the virus will be latent in some nerve cells forever, but hopefully in time our latent hsv load will lessen. I am thinking the best think is active zinc from a componding pharmacy or fluoride cream/gel. I think the zinc is a little better because the fluroide might not be good long-term. I plan to get active zinc, in the right amount to kill/inactivitate the hsv1 herpes and apply it evey time I go to the bathroom. I will update everyone as the months pass. I do not yet have this product, I need to get it from a compounding pharmacy. I also interested in BHT. Maybe I can have BHt put in it too. Answer: I think we need to find a topical, non-irritating product that will kil hsv on contact. Try Dynamiclear I have been recommending this product for years because from my experience it does exactly that - and if it doesn't work for you it has a 6 month guarantee, so no money lost. more info Hope this helps, Shenda Answer: Shenda, are you talking topical treatment for OBs, or topical for psuedo-suppressive therapy (e.g. day to day application)? Answer: Hi It's.no.biggie!, This is a topical treatment for actual outbreaks only but according to the literature it does reduce viral population, and continues to do so with each application. Dynamiclear needs to be applied one time only during the course of the outbreak (to each infection site). The secret to using this product is not to over-do it. It literally only needs one application per sore to do its job. The Helpful Hints page on their website has more info. Shenda Answer: Thanks, I will look into this. :) Answer: Hi Anon, There is some good info in the links on the "top left" of this site if you are interested in researching this further.
