In my throat

Question:
I was diagnosed with HSV-1 but I had a gential OB first and then about 2 days after I noticed lesions in my mouth.

Even though I have HSV-1 I didn't get cold sore, but lesions on my gums, back or throat, and a tiny one that looked like a bruise on my lip.

The lesions went away, but then in the back of my throat where the little thing hangs/dangels (I don't know the name of it) on both sides I have sores with circular things in them. My Dr. gave me Valtrex and its almost been a month. I wanted to know if anyone else had something similar to the sores I describe in the throat before. It doesn't hurt but I do get scared about it..it appears to be getting better, but its taking such a long time Im wondering if the medication is working. Im scared that it will never go away? :( :( Its making me feel like some kind of freak :(

Maybe its because my throat is always moist? I don't know but please someone help!:(

Answer:
anyone please?...Help :(

Answer:
I would go and see a dentist, or if you can afford it an ears, nose throat, specialist. They should be able to help diagnose your issue.

Answer:
I was told by my doctor that oral herpes only reveals itself on the outside of the mouth and that anything on the inside is a canker sore. If possible, try to get your doctor to refer you to a specialist. I think it's important for those of us with this disease not to assume that every bump is attributed to herpes. We still get the regular stuff too :)
