I believe I have ghsv but its only been less than 6 weeks since exposure and first culture came back negative. I assume it is a false negative but I have been having an OB consistently for 3 weeks now. I will get a blood test in the near future which will probably confirm my worst fears. The past two days I have been taking the Lysine, zinc, vit c combo supplement along with the immune support supplements purchased through global herbal supplies in hopes of relieving the discomfort. Will these supplements suppress the production of antibodies and make them harder to detect in the blood work? Also, can anyone tell me if Clarinex might help to reduce the itch and swelling?

it should NOT*(edit) suppress the production of them, if its ment to boost your immune system then it should help produce more antibodies since you are having a active ob. will it work? now thats the real question.
