I just received a book by Ed McCabe called 'Flood Your Body with Oxygen' that details all of the different oxygen therapies (including ozone therapy) and the research behind them. There are also names of oxygen therapy practitioners throughout the book. I will most likely try to contact some of them once I finish the book. I haven't read it yet but will let everyone know what I think when I get done.

Amazing find... Underground Ozone Therapies eh... Truely patheitc that some ppl have to resort to that... I dunno about the rest of you guys, but I believe in this article, there isn't a doubt in my mind and ozone therapies cure disease, I truly believe that this system does in fact ride the body of toxins... I've been talking to my dad about starting up a website that relies on private research (HIV/Herpes) from ppl like you, and I just finished talking to him, he told me that he's done this therapy in the past when he got really sick a couple years ago... I'm not going into the details of our conversation, but he told me that there are in fact "Underground Ozone Parties" Again I'm not going into details but he told me that they inject this stuff into your butt and most patients go into a chamber where everyone sits around this tube/box where you breathe ozone/oxygen for an hour.... He told me it made a differance in his life... I don't have herpes, but I've already made arrangements to try it out, I'll let you guys know how it feels... It's going to cost me $300 bucks but I'm really really curious...

I've just finished talking to the women who is going to be giving me oxygen therapy... Heres what she told me... She told me that she had been infected with HSV-1 and had coldsores on or around her mouth for years before discovering oxygen therapy... She swears that after applying topical oxygen therapy to OPEN BLISTERs on her mouth, shes never had an outbreak since, and had only two possible outbreaks since the initial application (which were in differant spots, and she said she couldn't even tell if they were an actual outbreak or not.) This was 7 years ago... She told me that injecting ozone is dangerious if you dont know what your doing, and must be applied extremly slow... She told me that she would be applying the therapy into my ears, and penis, I have a rash down there still... She told me that ozone therapy is in fact a cure for 1: Viruses who cannot survive in high oxygenated blood and 2: bacteria which are simple 1 celled organisms who will die during the therapy.... She told me that if Ozone therapy doesn't kill the virus, it will disable the virus, perminantly, where it is no longer agressive, EVER!!! She told me that if everyone applied topical Oxygen therapy after a one night stand, there would be no STDs in the world... She told me so much stuff I didn't even know, it was truly wounderful... Hey everyone
It sounds like everyone is getting very excited about oxygen and ozone therapies ... I have done research on this for the past 4 weeks. I have contacted both hyperbaric oxygen therapy clinics AND ozone clinics. they are not the same thing so keep that in mind.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade because I, myself, would love to be cured. That's why I started researching in the first place. Please don't be too disheartened by what I have to say next, and please don't stop researching and contacting experts yourselves!

Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy has helped reduce/stop outbreaks in a few individuals. I called a couple of clinics, and the both saidt hat they've only had a few herpes patients, who DID seem to get positive results. However, they only stayed in contact for about a year or two, so these patients could have outbreaks later. ALSO, they cannot guarantee a cure! You may lose your symptoms, but the virus may still remain inside your body.

In all the studies I have read, it seems the experiments used OZONE therapy (different from hyperbaric oxygen therapy) to try to eradicate the disease. Ozone is much more potent than oxygen. THis involves withdrawing some blood, mixing it with ozone, and then reinjecting blood. THis kind of therapy also seemed to get positive results.

However, since there is no way to test to see if the virus is gone, one can't assume they are cured. Many people never have symptoms at all, and still, they not only carry the virus, but they also transmit it to unsuspecting partners.

I have contacted three experts. One doctor who does ozone therapy in Brazil, a doctor in New York who has written about ozone therapy AND who used to be a director of Medizone, and a doctor in Germany who also has experimented with ozone as a way to treat herpes. All three of these people do not think oxygen therapy (being placed in the chamber with oxygen) can cure herpes. It can stop outbreaks, but I don't think it can kill the virus completely.

This is because the virus lives in nerve cells where our immune systems can't reach. I've also read that the virus may even hide in the nucleus of a cell ... it seems that you cannot get rid of all of it. BUT for those who suffer from frequent outbreaks, it may be worth it to try these therapies just to stop the symptoms.

But please realize that it doesn't mean you're cured. I wish it did ... but no test exists that would let us know if we are cured. The only tests available test for antibodies for H, not the virus itself. Theoretically, even if the virus WAS eliminated from our bodies, I don't think our immune system would stop making antibodies against it.

I encourage you guys to get in touch with all the doctors and virologists you can. ANd share with us what they said! The doctors I have spoken to have been very helpful ... but I would love to hear more feedback from more experts.

Please also go to quackwatch.com and read what the author has written on oxygenation therapies. He's mostly writing about how it can't cure HIV (which is different from herpes, obviously) but at the same time, he is addressing the effectiveness on such therapy for viruses ... and since undergoing alternative therapy with no formal studies is experimenting with your health, it is important to know both sides of the coin ... that is, it's important to know what advocates AND non-advocates say about oxygen and ozone therapy.

That way you can make an informed decision about the therapy for yourself.

Yea your right, but oxygen will disable the virus, which means that even though it stays inside you, it is no longer agressive... And yes you can and probably will pass the virus to others, but the virus is already disabled... At the end, everyone gets infected with a useless dormant virus.... So what?

Ok, now hypothetical question for everyone. If you were to go under oxygen or ozone therapy, and you stopped getting symptoms, what do you tell a potential partner?

I'm thinking you would still have to tell them there is a chance they will get infected and get symptoms too. What do you guys think?

Look at it this way... If I take a sword and cut your legs off, you'll never walk again right... So If oxygen is introduced to a virus, it disables it from reproducing itself, or prevents the virus from attacking cells... So yes, we might not kill the virus, but you will stop it from doing its thing... Even if you give it to others, its still disabled... Don't quote me 100%, but I'm pretty darn sure thats how all viruses work... Last question is really up to the person, and the situation he/shes in.... Every time you run Ozone through a human, its like a nuke for viruses.... MASS DESTRUCTION....
