Question:
I suffer from genital herpes. My outbreaks are always triggered hormonally - between ovulation and my period. Would taking acyclovor only during this period each month be effective for suppression therapy or is it more effective if I take it daily? Does anybody know which would be best. Outbreaks are used to be every month but now are every 2-3 months (without treatment) - still too often if you ask me.

I know a lot of ppl just take their meds when they have ob. I take acyclivor daily however. But, I have a lot of stress & pretty much constant ob. It depends on the person. Talk to your doc about it and see. Good luck! ;)
