Hey Everyone,
I just have a quick question regarding HSV-1 genital herpes. Does it make sense to go on some form of reressive therapy or medication during the first year? I?m not sure how bad the outbreaks are during the first year and want to make as easy as possible to deal with. I?ve heard that outbreaks are often few and far between with HSV-1 but I?m not sure if this applies to the first year.

I was diagnosed 7 months ago and went on daily valtrex right away. I have not had an outbreak since. Pray alot and claim healing.
