Question:
I had my intial outbreak 3 days ago. I'm 2 days into my 5 a day Acyclovir medication and my outbreak is getting worse and worse!!! I'm freaking out, isn't this supposed to help. 3 days ago my sores were small and only about 6. Now they are huge round red balls and I have about 30 or so. I'M FREAKING OUT!!! It is normal for it to get worse before it gets better??! Can people have negative reactions to acyclovir? Has anyone had a negative experience? When will these gross, digusting lumps of pain go away!!??
