Question:
I have herpes simplex II. I thought I got it through sexual contact with my boyfriend. He claims that he does not have it. He is the only person that I have had sex with. The last partner was twenty years ago. The doctors said it was my first outbreak as it was so severe. A friend suggested that maybe I got it some other way. Is it possible that I contacted it some other way?

I have permanent nerve damage. My leg, butt, and feet are numb, and my stomach is so sensitive, it feels like I have to urinate all of them time. I have wet my pants, and wet my bed a few times. I am currently taking Neurontin to help with the symptoms. I am also going to a natropath to try and treat the viral infection and to boost my imune system. Anyone out there with similar symptoms.

I am so sorry to hear about all the nerve damage you have experienced with this. And all this is permanent? That is terrible.

I don't think it is likely that you contracted this diease any other way. In most cases, you have to come in direct contact with herpes lesions or with skin that is shedding the diease. I truly believe you got it from your boyfriend. I think the best thing for you to do right now is research this diease and treatments. Look up HBOT too.

The sad thing about being on this site is that many of us have been lied to. Apart from the H, that may be one of the hardest things to get over.
