Question:
I have recently had another genital outbreak. All sores healed up but the pain i am experiencing is terrible. All my buttocks and thighs are throbbing. Is it possible to have Post herpes pain in the same way as you can have post herpatic pain with herpes zoster.

You know - I had a really bad OB last week - and just as it healed - I had that same pain - buttocks, thighs - never before - felt like I had gone sledding on a wood plank all day - I was worried it had to do with HSV - you may have a point. Funny you mentioned it.

apparently the pain after can be as bad as zoster pain. I just spoke to the doctor
