Please excuse my ignoance on this subject however i have a question. When someone gets a wart on there hand. It is caused by a viral infection, right? Well, they use things to remove these warts, supposedly permanently. like that freezing stuff or the liquid wart remover. So, my question is why cant they do the same for cold sores and other virus caused blisters / warts?

Those types of treatments (freezing, burning, etc.) only removes the wart, not the virus. The virus stays behind and may or may not show up as a wart again in the future. Many different strains of viruses can cause warts, some more aggressive than others.
