Hi. I just found out I had herpes yesterday.. I was looking up pictures of herpes and saw that a cat had it.. I know you're thinking like who cares it's a cat.. but I love my cat very much and I want to hold her and kiss her but I am very scared to give this to her. Is it possible that I can give herpes to her by holding her and kissing her? I mean I'm not sure if it's on my mouth.. I mean I don't really have anything except one little thing inside that is def not a canker sore... please help me.. I just wanna hold her :(

There are tons of strand of herpes but only 8 ( i think) affect humans. HSV is humans only, other animals have there own stands and cannot get yours or vice versa. I think you are so sweet to worry of your cat. Going through this makes the innocent love of an animal so important.
