i'm mainly looking for people on the long-term program... ( i.e. 1000mg a day (or more) for a significant period of time )...

i have hsv2 and my primary outbreak was march 2005.

i began the initial dosage of bht in april at 500mg per day, but at the end of that first month i feared a recurrence outbreak, so i increased dosage to 1000mg per day.

i am now currently on my 3rd month at 1000mg per day, making it a total of 4 months without any missed days.

i have been assymilating the powder into my bloodstream by pre-dissolving it in olive oil before oral consumption. i also think this helps with protecting the lining of the stomach?

i am male, 175 lbs.

i have had zero side effects.

i have not had a recurrence outbreak.

as for now i intend to continue the 1000mg dosage for another year, then slowly ramp down the dosage to 500mg again.
