Question:
My husband has had HSV2 for 13 years, while I just had my first OB a couple of months ago. We have been together 8 years and stupidly I never did any research on herpes, so I never knew about shedding. We just didn't have sex during one of his OB's.
So now that we both have it, our sex life is shot? That bites!! If we aren't supposed to have sex when either of us has an OB, then we'll probably never have sex again. He has OB's all of the time. I am trying to get him to go to the Dr. for a prescription to see if that does any good. Now that we are ready to try to have another baby, we have to deal with this too. We have to try and be healthy and ovulating at the same time?

I forgot part of my question!! If we had sex when one of us had an OB, what would happen? I have only had 1 OB (sore) in one spot, but my husband has many in different spots. He has even had a couple at the same time.
