Hi. I asked my doctor to prescribe me valtrex because i had like 3-4 outbreaks in 2 months. So she did, but i didnt have time to pick in up in 2 days. When i came home from work, i knew i had light itching down there, so i took a mirror and looked. It was like 2 of the biggest welps i ever seen on my outer lips. My outbreaks, beside first one, was never huge bumps or alot. These two welps looked like somethng big bit me down there, one on each lip. I rushed to walgreens to get my prescription (like 4 am) and took it. I dont even have any itching or anything since. They also prescribed me some liquid stuff to put on there. Dont know the name. My medicine is Valtrex and its suppressive therapy. Its working for me! Those welps have went down some and barely itching or burning! Im happy. I dont want my partner to catch it, thats why i did supressive. Try it everyone.

I'm glad to hear that your herpes meds are working for you. Valtrex works very well for me too. (and I was on suppressive therapy for two years)
