I ignored my first few OB's b/c I was scared and ashamed.When I was diagnosed during an OB I took the meds the doctor gave me.The OB I had after that I didn't see the doctor and took care of it at home with Tylenol for the pain and drank lots of water.Do I need to take the meds though during an OB? Is it really needed?

Is it really needed? Outbreaks will go away all by themselves... it will just take a lot longer is all. How come you are afraid to take the clinically proven herpes antivirals?

Thanks for the answer!I wasn't afriad to take the meds I was given.I was just to scared and ashmed to actually see a doctor in the begining when I first had sores.I kinda freaked out a little and was in denial about it.I should have gone right away though.I would have been in much less pain and the Ob's I got the first few times would have been much less.

There's really no need to suffer through such bad Ob's if the meds work for you.If I could go back in time....
