BUILDING IMMUNITY

Question:
just out of curiosity,

i'm sure if anybody has experienced this they wouldn't be here...but nonetheless... has anybody found their outbreaks to lessen the more they simply let an outbreak clear up on its own, no anti-virals, etc?

just a theory, and I know all viruses act differently in different Immune systems.. but biologically, the blister/crusting stage is a combatant/healing stage the body uses to develop antibodies and keys to fighting off the disease naturally....

i used to get plantar warts (which are a virus) as a kid, and I had several frozen off several times. my dermatologist told me whatever I do, do not lance the ensuing blister, what took place in that liquid was key to my body being able to fight off the virus...sure enough, after a few sessions, the warts never returned..

it seems like the same would hold true to herpes outbreaks. the body needs to use the dead/living/ dying viiruses in the blisters, to develop antibodies..... Just a thought

peace

The norm is that outbreak frequency and intensity does decrease over time. I have found that to be true for me...

Something else to think about is that people have different reasons for using the antivirals. You don't have to use the antivirals if you don't want to. Your outbreaks will clear up all by themselves. It might take a little bit longer but eventually they do.

Just a thought The body doesn't need an outbreak in order to have antibodies. Your body is going to develop them any way. Also, your body continues to build up antibodies even if you are taking an antiviral to treat your outbreaks.
