Ok here is the situation. My Partner & I live in two different states and only see each other on average. Every Six weeks. While I am currently taking valtrex daily as a supressant. I'm wondering if I stop taking the medication daily during the time inwhich we are apart and maybe start taking the medication daily like a week or two before my partner & I are intimate would it still be as effect in preventing shedding.

hey its all up to u. im not sure> i dont even think the drug company could even put a use before 2 weeks of sex label on it... so if u want to take ur chances.. by all means, but i dont see the point in risking ur partner for what takes less then 30 seconds to take the pill ne way
why dont u want to take the meds?
