how did this happen
Question: me and my husband have been married for a year i was diagnosed with herpes two days ago i don't understand how this could have happened i see him naked every night he has never had an outbreak this is tearing apart our marriage because we have both accused each other of cheating and i don't understand how this could have happened also the sores are around my anus only and we havn't had anal sex so this doesn't make any sense to me could this be anything other than herpes? why would i have it and my husband would not could someone tell me what is going on? Answer: its possible either of u could have had it for years, and never had any symptoms to let u know you had it to begin with. so u both should get tested. also> is that the only spot u have the sores? cause u usually get the sores during the frist outbreak at the spot/area the virus came into contact with you. so if its just ur butt... think long and hard about any sexual contact u have had for years... if its all over + ur butt, thats common Answer: i have never had anal sex and the sores are inside my anus also and they do not look like normal herpes sores the aren't even popable they are like raised skin nodules that are very painful is there anyway the tests could be wrong? i talked to a few other ppl who had the same kind of sores and they said that when the doctors don't know what it is they just diagnos it as herpes they gave me alot of other pill to go with the anti viral two anti biotics and an anti fungal what do you think? Answer: they gave u all those meds? sounds like ur right they didnt know what it is. and the sores> shouldnt be popable- they should be sores> like ulcers > if u ever had a canker sore> thats what it should look like. do the bumps hurt All the time> or just when u go to the bathroom? Answer: they hurt when they come into contact with anything is it possible to get herpes inside of your anus? but yea they have actually kinda of spread out and conjoined into like a few raised bumbs but they aren't round is but i was what i was wondering is that they did cultures and they said that i have herpes but is it possible that i don't have it because this is really tearing apart our marriage Answer: if neither of u cheated> and u trust eachother ur marriage shouldnt be tearing apart. its VERY VERY VERY possible, EITHER of u could have had it for years. alot of the people who have herpes, dont know they have it until they have a outbreak. like i said before> BOTH of u should get tested, there is a blood test that can tell u how long u have had it> or atleast get a close idea of how long. then after u find out the results> deal with it... but until then try and relax, cause stress just makes it worse. and its possible to get them there yes, the sores can be external, and internal. but i would get another test done, culture and blood if u can. Answer: Well i just foun out yesterday that i have herpes(HSV1) buit i have no i dea how i could have got it because im only 16 and ive never had sexual contact with anyone im so confused as to how this could have happened Answer: kids usually get it when they are younger(like baby young) and theres always some older person trying to be musshy and kiss u. or if u have ever kissed someone w/ a coldsore.. that will do it Answer: It is possible to have both, or one of you to have had it lying dormant for years. No one had to cheat to just now see symptoms. I get symptoms on my anus and in my pubic hair region, and never anywhere else....and they ARE NOT sores....I never have had an actual sore.....just pain around the anus, redness, feels very sore....or like there is a paper cut there but you can't see it. So, your symptoms do not have to present typically. Also, even if you never had anal sex....if a person that was infected had a part of their anatomy infected(or viral shedding at the time) and came into contact near the region, or rubbed against or near it, without penetration you could have been infected in that area. It is easy to pass it on....even if a partner touched his own genitals and the virus was active, then with the same hand touched you near or around your anus, it could be spread that way too. More likely from the penis touching outside that area though. Sucks I know! hard to think it is that easy to get this but it doesnt have to be through penetration.
