hi, im a little new at this chat thing but i was wondering if anyone in here could lend me some advice. I have genital herpes and my boyfriend does as well. Its getting to the point where our sexual relationship is becoming a little boring because ever since we found out about having herpes, we stopped having oral sex completely out of fear of spreading it to the mouth. I know herpes can be almost unnoticable at times which is why i am asking. I really want to give him oral sex but im scared we won't know if he is having a rash or something caused by the herpes, therefore spreading it to my mouth. I don't know what to do, just let me know if im thinking wrong but i am very depressed because i feel he is not attracted to me anymore and i want to spark our relationship a little more by doing this again, like we used to. Can anyone help me? I've had herpes and am over it now, i just want to make him happy again. thanks

if ur not comfy doing it bare> go for the condom. its better then nothing.

and if u search here, there are post about how its less common to spread it to ur self again even though u do have it, IT can be spread but since ur body is already setting up imunities to the virus its a bit harder to actually get.
