Hey, I have a few questions for some people out there. I have oral herpes. I rarely have outbreaks and when I do, it's usually just one small coldsore that lasts about a week.

I was considdering oral sex with my significant other right now. Only I'm afraid, even if I don't have any symtoms at all, and rarely do, that he's still vulnerable to genital herpes if I perform oral sex on him.

How likely is it that he will contract genital herpes if no signs are present on me and no protection is used during oral sex?
