Oral Herpes and Saliva
Question: Okay I have a 11 month old baby girl. Can she eat/drink after me and can I chew her food then give it to her? Thanks in advance guys Answer: No, it is not ok to do either of those things, as it puts your baby at high risk for getting herpes. go to this site to understand and learn about herpes more thoroughly .....it answers a lot of questions. Answer: NOT AT ALL. babys dont need you to chew there food, they arent birds, buy baby food... and sharing with her anything is a VERY risky thing Answer: Don't do that. You can easily transmit HSV-1 to her like that. Answer: I heard HSV is not transferred through saliva. The saliva is a way of transporting it to an open cut or mucous membrane. It is low risk, but why take chances. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
