I use Releev (it's an over the counter application like abreeva) , Drink lot's of Green Tea, and rinse my lip with dissolved sea salt in warm water once or twice a day.

The dissolved sea salt in warm water seems to dry the cold sore out rather quickly so it can scab over and fall off sooner than later.
