Prescription
Question: I've been diagnosed by a clinic with HSV-2. However, the government, in its infinite wisdom, apparently prohibits the clinic from issuing prescriptions (no doctor) if the infection is not on the genitals (mine is on my inner thigh). Thus, I need to get a prescription and fast before the initial OB clears up. What's the fastest way to do this? I leave town middle of next week to start training for a new job, and I really don't want to try to deal with this then, but every doctor I call seems to have absurd waits. Is there some secret? I don't need a diagnosis or information...I've read fairly extensively on the subject...I just need a scrip for Valtrex! Thanks, Idi Answer: gonna have to find a clinic or doc that doesnt have a long wait. try some schools, there med centers usually have docs that can give rx's. and im wondering why you need the meds before it clears up? you dont even need to take them if you dont want to. Answer: I have read that treating your initial outbreak aggressively helps make future recurrences milder. Yes, follow Waxed's advice and go get a prescription like that.
