I didn't find an adequate amount of information to make me want to use myself as a guiney pig for someone's ideas that aren't supported by actual scientific testing and gave more evidence of people being injured by the use of the zinc in the manner recommended.

I've used zinc lozenges when I've had colds and they can cause problems if used in the excessive amounts suggested by this site.
