ding ding ding~ so that got me thinking, if bleach kills the virus, and you apply some bleach to the outbreak- less of the virus goes back into your system (this is also what that cloraphor stuff says it does) well that prob hurts like a mother, but maybe diluted....

has anyone actually ever tried this?

Answer:
I've used bleach on poison ivy before. You should just be extra careful during application.

Answer:
you used it full strength or diluted?
unfortunatly i have type 1 so im still screwed lol.

Answer:
Picture a cat...upside down...hanging from a chandelier.....I'm thinking that's what someone would look like after one application of bleach to ob.
OUCH!

Answer:
We use 10% bleach solutions to wipe down surfaces in the lab. It's one of the most effective disinfectants humans have. However, I don't think it would be wise to use it on your skin as it's such a strong oxidizing agent. Stick with soap and water :)

Answer:
ya, i dont think i have the balls to put bleach on my genitals.
oh well maybe they can figure out how bleach kills it, to make it a "cure"

Answer:
bleach obliterates hair and skin particles if it comes into contact with them for too long.

It is great at getting rid of hair clogs in drains. You just pour about a cup of straight bleach down the drain and let it sit, without running water, for about 20 minutes and it's safer than Draino. Just don't get it on your clothing.

Does the website instruct how long it should stay on a surface to completely kill one of those organisms?

Yeah and I don't think I'd dose my genitals with it - it is just too strong and will dry your skin out something fierce.

Oh and never ever mix bleach with amonia because that combination can kill you.

Answer:
it says 5 min contact time for 3/4 cup to a gal of water.
