About a year ago I tested positive for HS2. I have outbreaks once every 6 weeks or so that are very well controlled with Valtrex. I recently fount this site and it sounds VERY promising. HBT sounds like it has very real possibilities at irradicateing the virus. This site also has MANY remedies for other ailments. It seems as though HBT, hydrogen peroxide and stabilized liquid oxygen are a great line of defense/prevention. This site is not a sales site, it is only about helping people share info. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) could be interesting to try. At least temporary tring this food supplement can't hurt. If it does work, then let's go for it for a longer period of time. If it doesn't work then forget about it.

I have done some study on this one. It does have proven antiviral properties in in vitro laboratory studies and in clinical studies on animals. However it has not been studied in former clinical studies for human beings. People on various Internet sites report improved healing time and no more or little reccurences after taking this supplement. Officially, it is FDA approved as a food preservative.

From all the data I gathered you must not exceed a dosage of 1 gram per day. You can take it in capsule. They are usully sold in 250 mg or 350 mg capsules. Some people take one in the morning and one in the evening (always for a total lower or equal of 1 g per day). It is said to be better absorb with oil food. Consumption of it must start gradually at first. For example, a capsule of 250 mg per day and one or two weeks later, raising the dosage (always lower than 1 g per day at the most higher dosage)

The theory of the action of this food supplement is that is acts against the lipid membrane of the virus. So it disrupts the capacity for the virus to be present in the body. (It does not cure it as it does not touch the DNA latency copy of the virus in the ganglia. It is important to add that!) In some testimonies (curezone.com has some from what I have found) people who have taken it for a while (for example 5 years) and then discontinued it and continued to have lasting effects years after taking the last capsule.

On a final note, I just had that some people mix it with another product called hypericin. It would have antiviral effects and coupled with BHT would have a greater effect against the virus. I don't go any further about this one in this topic.

Now, all of this is what I have read over a lot of Internet sites and is all the knowledge I built on that. I am considering to try it, maybe for some weeks.

Some people are so negative and closed minded it blows my mind. This site has nothing to do with sales. The biggest remedies the site rambles about are hydrogen peroxide and apple cider vinegar for various ailments. TONS of money being made of these products, let me tell ya. It's closed minded people like you that are bringing this country down. In all the reading I have done, BHT seems to be the only one substance that ANYONE who has tried has had luck with. If it prevented one outbreak, the small price of it is worth it to me. I recently purchased some and will post results after a few months.
