Hey jadaday, I used to do the same thing when I was first diagnosed. Out of all the claimers on the internet, notice how none of them never say they went back to get retested negative. It takes a while to finally realized there is no cure at least not right now...............:confused:

I think that the cure is out there, somewhere, it might be smoething totally simple, hiding under all our noses. But unfortunately, until the little spark ignites the lightbulb in the head of some amazing doctor/scientist/biochemist/whoever.....we are stuck with suppressive meds and topical ointments to alleviate our plight with the virus.

There are so many different theories as to what it will take to "cure" or wipe out this virus. While I understand science, I am not of a scientific mind, so it is frustrating to me being on the outside looking in...I think shit...with all the technology we have, with all the medical advances made, even in the last 50 years.....why can't we cure viruses?!?!!

I think once we figure out a way to cure HIV/AIDS...THEN we will open the pandoras box for other viruses INCLUDING hsv.

i believe there is a cure out there, somewhere, as i do with cancer and other major diseases; just too much money to lose (doctors, pharmacies, etc). they have cured polio, and many other diseases, shit look at chicken pox, a strain of herpes or some relationship to it, i forget exactly. i had it as a kid as did every child i grew up with, some adults, who did not get it as a child, and where exposed to a child with the c-pox, ended with up shingles.....hmmmmm.....imagine that. then after my 3rd child was born, they have a vaccine against the chicken pox, i have my 4th child innoculated wtih it at the doctor's recommendations, and to date, he is 13 years old, he has never had the c-pox. sooooooo..........who knows, the medical field has always been a mystery to me, but i also feel that they keep lots of secrets from the general public.

Hi Guys, I am from Canada and am aware of a small company that created a device.. Used at the very start of tingling it applies heat at the proper temp to stop the outbreak- this is just for cold sores- no word on genital.
