I had my first ob this past April, and have stayed clear since. However, there is lingering chronic pain upon applying pressure at the area where my outbreak was the most painful. I am still unable to have sex with my partner due to the discomfort, so if anyone can help me with some advice, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I have some pain in the area where the outbreak has been, it varies from day to day and seems worse when cold. I think it could be postherpetic pneuralga, mine is improving with time. There are web pages on the subject. I find if I get stressed it is worse.
