I am worried that my family might get cold sores because a cashier at the grocery store had a huge cold sore and she touched all our food.
What are the chances that the virus will stay on the articles?

Answer:
The virus does not live for any length of time out side of the body. You should be safe. Washing the food will be good. Anything that is cooked will be no problem at all. :wink:
