Anyone tried ozone or h-peroxide???

Question:
I've been doing a lot of research about these two things. Basically they work to oxygenate the blood or area of application...and prevent virus from living because the herpes virus (like all viruses) is anaerobic. There's many ways to do both treatments: orally, intravenously, topically. Has anyone tried either or know anything about it? Please let me know!

Answer:
Never tried ozone, though we have an ozone maker in house, but have used peroxide on the lesions. It works. They heal much faster and are less painful, at least mine are.
BTW, isn't ozone in the air, not a liquid? Never heard of it taken or even existing in that form.

Take care

Answer:
Here is a link that talks about different ozone therapy. It is a gas but there are many ways to use it. You can ozonate water and drink the water. Check it out I think there may be some validity to it. I've been doing a lot of research....you guys may think I'm crazy but I do believe that there is a cure to herpes. It's just gonna be hard to find good scientific evidence about it because our healthcare system would lose a lot of money if they had no reason to sell us a lot of drugs. Just my opinion....anyways I'm really interested in this ozone stuff and I'm going to keep looking into it, maybe even try it. I'll let you know what I find.

Has anyone tried taking food grade hydrogen peroxide orally? Anyone know anything about this? I want to know everything!!

We've been down this road before IN GREAT VOLUMINOUS DETAIL about promotions for some website or product or "treatment" or "cure" or "amazing" natural "therapy"....We're about 2 years ahead of you on the ozone topic.

What you're speaking of is of no scientific utility in HSV treatment, for several reasons. A few are:
(1) It isn't even widely viewed in science that viruses are alive to begin with. So the idea that you can "kill" them (by altering some oxygen level someplace) is hardly plausible. Sometimes terms are loosely or unfortunately used like "dead virus", when what is really meant is a virus stripped of the capacity to cause the disease with which it is associated, but still able to invoke an antibody response to the actual disease-causing virus (vaccine).
(2)Our blood is already quite well oxygenated which is why we're alive. We even have reserves of it in our muscle tissue. But there is a ceiling as to how much oxygen your body can carry as determined by your red blood cells which can only carry so many hemoglobin molecules, each of which can only bind 4 oxygen molecules at a time. These are details, but they are exactly what matter when a topic like this comes up and people think they are "on to something" or there is some fascinating capacity to effect some HSV therapy.

So the idea that you can take on all this great new oxygen is flatly false. There is simply nowhere for it to go at some point. This is marketing at its worst.

So you actually tried this route with no sucess? What you're saying makes sense to me, it reallly does. One thing that's so appealing about these therapies though is that they are relatively inexpensive to put together a regiment in some ways. It's sort of like a "what have I got to lose" situation at this point. I would love to hear anyone's first hand experience with this....there's a lot of info out there supporting both sides of this. I won't dismiss what you say, but I am going to stay optimistic. Thanks for your input!

http://www.oxygenhealingtherapies.com/intro_ozone.html Great link, thanks.

The only benefit I can see for this therapy is for immune system boosting. Anything that helps your immune system will help you fight any virus quite naturally better. On the other hand, using it as a "cure" makes no sense, since that isn't possible via chemical means that I know of. I'm trying to do my homework, too, so bear with me. For myself, this is a welcome therapy idea since my immunity is suppressed due to certain medications I have to take, not to mention the Valtrex, which suppresses everything, not only the HSV 1&2. I really wish there were some way to avoid pharmaceuticals but, so far, no vaccine is ready for market. sighhhhhhhh

Good luck with your researching endeavors, and I will continue to do so as well.

 There is. If you're really interested in another perspective I would reccomend that anyone go to an N.D. (naturopathic doctor). If you can't cure it, then what have you got to lose? There are natural supplements and herbs that are antiviral such as a goldenseal/ echinecea mixture or colloidal silver. With these types of things I think it's important to stay open minded. Natural medicine is not all full of fraud and empty words....it's been around forever and there is a whole lot of it that works very efficiently without pumping your body full of chemicals. If you're interested, here's a link to find an N.D. in your area.
