i am 36 wks right now. i have only had about 3 or 4 ob's during my pregnancy. but if i am having one at time of labor...and i need to have a c-section..what can i tell the rest of my family as the reason why? the only person who knows is my b/f. i dont need everyone in my family knowing and im worried about what the doctors say and stuff like that.

c-section's are doing for a variety of reasons, dont worry, just say the doctors thought it was the safest option,

You could say they think it's a large baby,or you chose to have this type of delivery, out of choice.

as long as your doctor knows, that is all that matters. tell him that under no circumstances, do you want the family to know about you having H. i am sure he/she will understand completely and keep it confidential. good luck with the delivery!!!!
