HSV2 on face around right eye....
Question: Ok i managed to spread my hsv2 infection from my genitals to around my right eye by rubbing my pubic region (feeling for fucking lymph nodes) and not washing my hands right away. I would then play with my hair and rub the ends on my face around the area that is in question. I was under the impression that you only had to wash your hands if you touched your genitals. I can now see tiny little red lines on the side of my nose and one about onr inch under my eye. They get a little itchy and irritated but i keep purell on it as often as possible. Here are my questions. How contagious is my face going to be? will it be as bad as my gential area when i break out? Also which creams should i look into for supressing it? thanks Answer: You really should discuss this with your dr. It is possible you spread it to your face and it is possible that it is something else. It is always best to not diagnose yourself but to see a professional and get their recommendation for treatment. When dealing with viral infections of any kind it is always recommended to wash your hands if they come into contact with an infected area. Since genital herpes is not isolated to the genital area and oral herpes is not isolated to the mouth you should always be proactive about washing your hands so that you keep the chances of autoinocculation down. You can do this simply by using your purell as a hand sanitizer in the event you can't get to soap and water. My advice is to see a dr about the areas on your face where you think you infected yourself and hopefully it is not herpes. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
