How long does the virus stay active on objects like sheets? I had sex on a bed with a condom and my freind slept in that bed the next night, now he's sick. Is it possible to last that long and he somehow got it now?

It's supposed to be unable to infect anyone very quickly, and I will assume that your sheets weren't still "wet" (ewww at the idea lol).

Is your friend showing symptoms of H? If he's sick he really might just be sick. H makes us so incredibly paranoid.

it wont live that long. he might be sick from sleeping on dirty sheets, but they did not catch herpes from the sheets.

The likelihood is slim to none... there are no documented cases of people catching HSV from an inanimate object.... especially after that kind of time frame....
