Itch relief

Question:
My first OB is all healed up but I'm still really itchy. Is vagisil safe to use on myself??

Answer:
id use a&d ointment. i think it works a hell of alot better then vagisil. but if theres no open sores/cuts etc. then its fine to use.

Answer:
If you have no sores then vagisil should be okay to use. Note: during ob's you should not use anything with hydrocortisone because it can make it worse.

Summers Eve makes an anti-itch gel that is clear and does not have hydrocortisone.

The best anti-itch I've used is "Triamcinalone Cream" and you get it from your dr by RX. Just do not use during an ob.

Body powders such as Gold Bond are helpful for some people.

Answer:
Never heard of Triamcinalone Cream but have tried Gold Bond powder for itchy feet and it helped, though I haven't tried it for H2 ob's. I prefer H2O2, hydrogen peroxide for healing but it does nothing for the itches. I'll have to ask my doc about that cream, thanks Caliope!
