cure discovered and patented
Question: You may find the following interesting: Patent#5188738 is a patent filed in 1990, which was intended to cure HIV. It was discovered by Steve Kalli of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, that by running low frequency, low current (50-100 micro amps) emf through HIV, the virus can no longer attach to receptor sites, leaving it ineffective to reproduce itself. It was discovered that this process not only neutralized or killed HIV, it also it eliminates every fungi, parasite, germ, bacteria, virus (herpes included), and shows no negative effect on normal blood cells. Plans were made to implant a small device in the arm to create a current in the blood and thereby cure patients with HIV/Aids. The device would be removed when the virus was eliminated, weeks later. The operation would cost approximately 20k. To successfully get a patent, you need to prove beyond a doubt, through rigorous testing, and with sufficient scientific evidence that your invention works. The fact that this patent was granted says quite a lot. The following is a link to a video made by Robert C. Beck, who pioneered this research. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...48315844437935 Bob has basically copied this technology with a slight modification, he increased the strength of the emf, which allows for a device to be installed on top of the skin with no incision. The device sits over the artery, and pulses emf through the blood which destroys the viruses and pathogens, as the heart continues to pump new blood completing a full circuit approximately every 8 minutes. These products are not FDA or Health Canada approved and probably never will be, but the electronic diagram can be found on the web, and can be built (with a bit of knowledge of electronics)for less than $50. Also, units are sold for home use for about $200. They are sold as plant growth devices. You can find more information on this technology by searching "Bob Beck Protocol video" with google. Answer: Watched the video, that guy is giving out the cure without selling anything, hes giving it out for free. I don't really know if the cure is geniune but he surely comes across as a geniune person. Answer: anyone have a link for his device? Answer: I don't know about this "cure" but I have applied for patents in the US and one does not have to have something that does anything special to get a patent. You'd be amazed at the silly patents that are out there. Usually you have to prove that you have a plan (drawings, descriptions) you have to prove that you've researched other patents to make sure that yours is unique or at least not identical to someone elses. You then submit your application, pay the fees and start waiting for it to be approved - which can take years. It must be more complex for something that is supposed to be a cure for something or is designed to be taken internally or inserted into someones body. Simply having a patent doesn't make your "invention" safe or even recommended for humans to use. The patent application process would certainly provide a consumer with all of the information necessary if they decided to sue you for damages from your invention. A cure would be wonderful. I would never shoot down someone who is working for such a worthy cause but just because they've applied for a patent and been approved doesn't prove to me that it will work or be safe for me to try.
