Question:
I've just been recently diagnose with HSV 2 this Christmas and currently I'm experiencing my second outbreak. Now, I have all the flu like symptons but this time around I fell itchy on my stomach and lower back! Has anyone else experience this?

I feel itchy sometimes...Now I think any itch has to do with hsv. (I don't know if it is related though)

I miss the old days when I could have a good scratch without a care in the world :(

;)LOL.... I can agree! And what makes it worst is that I really have no one who can relate with me! Thank god for this website, which I came upon last night! I've been living with HSV for awhile I believe but my first outbreak was Christmas time! This is all new to me! And it's all from my ex, moral of the story... USE CONDOMS! lol ;)

I use alcohol and tiger balm for itches and pain. They did help me. Tiger balm is the white type. Actually anything with high Menthol content should be helpful. In that way don't have to scratch... My problem is have red itchy bumps appear on face when I feel hot outdoors. They disappear after I cool down and dry off, just annoying. Any of you experience that?

Desperate, wow that's horrible!! Hearing that scares the Hell out of me... I feel as if I cannot be in a relationship of find my husband due to HSV! And I'm still learning to live with HSV and once again becoming aware of my body!
