Boyf has GH
Question: I've been seeing this guy for the past year and after our first time having sex, he experienced an ob. We didn't know what it was so he went to the doctor and was told that he had it. I have never had an ob of GH but I got tested and it was negative. We're very careful now, and only have sex with condoms and I've still be able to avoid contracting GH. However I do feel that he may have got it from me. I've now got a coldsore and he feels partly responsible but I've told him that it's not his fault - every member of my family have coldsores so there's a good possibility that I was the carrier in the first place. He's not had an ob since - but he does seem prone to Genital Warts. Is there a possibility that he never had GH and it was warts along?? The other question that's going through my head is if I want to give him oral pleasure is he going to contract it for sure - basically I love giving him oral and I don't want to have to stop!!! Answer: so, your bf was told he had herpes, by the doctor just looking, or did they do a swab and blood work? you have cold sores, but your blood work came back negative? if you want to continue oral sex and minimize the risk of transmission as must as possible, always use a condom. i do feel that he should have blood work and maybe you should again also. Answer: Well over here they're very strange about how they do it. I asked for blood tests but they said you can't test it for blood and it has to be done through an outbreak and they swab it. That's what I found strange???? You guys all talk about having blood tests but they won't do it over here. Also you have to go to specialist clinics to get it done where it's anonymous as if you go to your GP it goes on your permanent medical file and you can be refused life insurance or mortgages as you're a health risk! It's all very taboo over here and not something commonly discussed. He only went to the doctor and they just told him it was Herpes, but we went for a screening towards the end of it and they said that it was too hard to swab as they were nearly gone. He's have to wait for another outbreak. We're both just really unsure of what steps to take next. thanks for replying - I really appreciate it. Answer: they consider herpes a medical health risk as far as insurance is concerned. wow, talk about a stigma. i am sorry to hear that it is so difficult for you over there.
