Question: Okay, question and response time! I am a young woman who has HVS2. I've just started dating a really great guy with whom I've had the talk and it went really well. We promised to wait a while before having sex, but I can tell that the time is getting more and more near. My concern isn't about vaginal penetration. That I've gotten clear info from you folks (thanks so much for your questions and answers!), but what I want to know about is oral sex. I have no interest in recieving, but I'm going to be really bummed if I never get to give oral sex to a male partner ever again. Here's my stats: -Diagnosed with HVS2 this spring. -Two outbreaks, at this moment, OB free. -On daily doses of 500mg of Valtrex. -Takin' lysine like it's going out of style (roommate is a healer and herbalist). So, can I blow my boyfriend or not? ;) Answer: as long as its not oral hsv2. if it's genital hsv2. I wouldnt see why not. Answer: If it's oral, you probably will want to (or he'll probably want) use condoms. I recomend un lubricated. Lube is not tasty stuff. XP <-- yucky face and... talk to him about it. if you're on all that, your shedding will be minimal. and it's his choice to expose himself however much. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
