Stay Alkaline Stay Outbreak Free part one
Question: The theory [An acidic body provides a biological terrain conducive for disease to proliferate…. Maintaining proper alkaline levels is essential for overall good health as well as preventing all herpes outbreaks.] From the book Never an Outbreak. In simple words … pathogens love an acid environment. That’s where they breed and multiply. The herpes virus can not survive or proliferate in an alkaline environment. So how does one rebalance one’s body to an alkaline level which supports health and keep the little suckers from being a hindrance? Diet. Whatever you put inside of you. ACID ------------------------------NEUTRAL-------------------------ALKALINE 0 7 10 Let’s start with what we drink. Your choice of beverage. WATER Not all waters are equal. Before you buy mineral water (if that’s what you drink) have a look at the official analyse at the back of the bottle. You should favour water which is on the alkaline side on the scale. I spent one morning in the supermarket reading the backs of every brand of water till I found one which had a PH of 8. (Luchon if you’re living in France). It’s also a lovely soft water and tastes great. To those fortunate enough to have the extrea cah around to throw into a Melody water ioniser which not only filters your tap water, it splits the water into acid, which you can feed your plants and alkaline which you can drink , there is this option. Sang Whang the author to Reverse Aging swears by it. I have one and I don’t think any harm has come of me using it. I only need to clarify what the white depot in the glass is. OTHER DRINKS If you want to bring on an outbreak drink cola. It has an acidity of 2.5. it would take 32 glasses of alkaline water with a PH of ten to neutralise one glass of cola. If you want to stomp an outbreak squeeze lemons into your water. They have an extremely alkalising effect in the body. Beer has a PH of 2.5 Guess you wouldn’t want to drink this everyday. Hard spirits are also very acid forming. And so to any drink sweetened with artificial sweeteners or refined sugar. Juice your own fruits. Make your own lemon aid. And if you must have an acidic drink, get alkalife a few drops in your wine will not alter the taste but will lower its acidity make it more neutral. (Can’t imagine doing that in a posh restaurant.) I think the trick is finding the middle ground. You can have one drink but it is what it all adds up to at the end of the day. When you pee on the litmus paper the next morning it will total your previous day consumption with accuracy. God forbid it turns red. You want it slightly alkaline. Not deep purple either. Litmus paper can be got at your pharmacy. Do the test on rising before you’ve eaten or drunk any thing. Cut a piece off and pee on it. Watch the colour change. FOOD You are what you eat all day long. You’ve got a spot somewhere. You’ve put it there. Exzema, you’ve put that there. Itchy dry scalp? That’s your food talking. You are a sum total of what you have been eating and what you haven’t been eating. The only thing to remember when making food choices is that the alkaline food must tip the plate over. Two thirds to one third in favour of the alkaline foods. All grains are acid forming. Spelt, wheat, rye, amaranthe, quinoa, corn oats, rice, barley, kamut…. But I eat them every day. The trick is balance. When I wake up in the morning and feel for a lovely slice of toasted homemade sourdough multigrain bread with chopped nuts and seeds (which is unusual as a glass of lemon water and a lovely mango keeps me till lunch) I don’t hesitate. As long as I match that slice of bread with twice as much fruit I am doing fine. I love bread and I adore nuts. I thin it would be a shame not to take full advantage of earth’s bounty. I apply the same rule to lunch and dinner. And snacks. A great way to achieve that balance easily is to either eat carb with veges or protein with veges. Then you can see the balance. A plate is only so big. And if it has to be heaped with rice and chicken where do you have enough space for the veges? And eating like this allows you to eat more often. Yum yum and not get fat. Once your tummy tells you its emptied you can go for the other thing you wanted to eat earlier with some fruit. And there’s no guilt. I eat crisps but I have a carrot to go with it. It’s not the potaoes I’m afraid of, they’re alkaline. It’s the sunflower oil which isn’t. it’s acid forming. One warning, you will find yourself going to the toilet at every meal. Which is good and regular. It is sometimes embarrassing when I sit down to eat with my boys. One quarter way through one gets up and goes to the loo. The then other. They then wash their hands and return to the table. Invariably. So that’s it? Basically. Check out the website http://www.rense.com/1.mpicons/acidalka.htm There you’ll find a full list of foods rated according to their acidity or alkalinity. Follow on with part two : tips and tricks Answer: TRICKS AND TIPS If you’ve been having regular outbreaks you have an acid build up which will take a while to be neutralised and peed or perspired out until you become outbreak free. To speed up the process you need to do a cleanse. Which will give you an alkaline slate to start on. The best kind of cleanse it an alkaline cleanse. The easiest is one which tastes great. WATERMELONS Watermelons are in season. Eat them all day long. Only that, and for as long as you can and drink copious amounts of alkaline water. Something with a PH above 7. Your nose will run, your bladder won’t stop filling up and if you can work out a sweat go for it. The easiest way to work out a sweat is to sit in your bath tap as hot as you can bear it with a pot of ginger tea, or any herbal tea. Get some bicarbonate of soda, empty half of it into the tup get some Epsom salts pour 250 grams into the tub soak and release toxins. Do this for as many days as you can. If you get hungry eat, this is not about staving yourself. All things in moderation. And you don’t want to stress your body and bring on an outbreak. The Aerobic Oxygen Cleanse. Very easy. I did this and still ate normally. Wake up in the morning put twenty drops of aerobic oxygen in one liter of water. Drink all. I don’t like the taste of aerobic oxygen in water so I put the twenty drops in some juice and drink the wate afterr. A bit of lemon juice in the water would only help. Get ready to pee your toxins out. Every three hours I did the same. Oxygen in juice with water. If your detox symptoms are too strong, nausea, etc go slower. But be prepared for a runny nose and non stop pee stops. You’re cleaning house. The maintenance cleanse Grow your own wheat grass. Extremely detoxifying and alkalising and immune system fortifying. Get a towel, put it in a dish. Pour some grains in. Soak the towel. Cover it all up. Water it every couple o hours. In one day you’ll see the sprouts. Continue keeping it moist til the shoots appear. Open it up to the light and watch it grow. Chew the juice out of the grass. Ok there are more professional ways to do this but it tastes as good and the benefits are the same. Drink lots of herbal teas I like my teas spicy. And there’s a lovely Yogi tea with cinnamon, ginger and pepper which just does it for me. Most spices are very alkalising and that you’re drinking it with water just helps to flush out the neutralised wastes. Reading Material Reverse Aging Sang Whang The Ph Miracle Robert Young and Shirley Young Never an Outbreak William Farrel Answer: Thanks for such an informative post Christy. It seems with your suggestions I can still eat some of the things I love (popcorn) and avoiding OBs as long as I take steps to stay alkaline. I know i'm not gonna eat fruit and veggies all day, but i'll try to eat more. Couple of questions- is it okay to buy the ready made lemon juice to drop in water, if so how much to use? How much water do you drink daily? I don't have the time to follow a strict alkaline diet everyday, so can I pour some spices, herbs, etc in a cup (saw the cayenne pepper post) and just knock it back everyday to even things out? Also what is aerobic oxygen? Answer: Whoooaaah Darkness, hit me with them. If you're too lazy to squeze your own lemons and miss out on that lovely fresh taste there's also a path called Alkalizing for the lazies. The spices in a cup (especialy with the cayenne to knock some sense into your system) is a great idea. I used to have three spoonful of that stuff a day for years. Never had an outbreak and I wasn't too heavy on the veges either. I am now though. If you really won't squeeze your own lemons you lazy devil, (smile I'm taking the mick) just choose a lemon preparation which doesn't have any artificial preservatives and colours or E numbezr with the exception of E 250 I think which is vitamin C. Truth is I do that sometimes use the store bought lemon juice. When I'm really lazy. It is really convenient. Pour out add water and drink. I try to drink at three litres of water a day. Today was a bad day. But it isn't over yet. Time yet to make up. What I do is enjoy a pot of tea after my lemon juice in the morning. And another pot in the tub at night (or if I'm not in the tub on the forum) I drink some water or lemonade during the day. And I have something to thank you for. Before I would buy my teas. But since a while I've been thinking maybe it would be an idea to make my own. And since you came up witht he lazy version sices in a cup I did the same today. Looked in the cupbaord found some cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper and took a healthy pinch of cayene pepper. Added the hot water and enjoyed. Next time I'll break off a piece of licorice (pure and add it in for a hint of caramel) Will be doing that more often. Saves money too. OK I've rattled on enough. Ah yes but about the lemon - let your taste buds be your guide. This thing can be sour. I enjoy mine with a straw as I don't want the acid to have too much contact with my enamel (on my teeth). Bye for now now. And don't ever follow a strict alkaline diet (unless you're on a cleanse). You'll get sick. Even those who are terminally ill should go only 80% alkaline 20%. We need to eat. Ah I remember the times I couldn't eat this couldn't eat that. I drove people mad. Knock it back you said? That's what I used to be called. Mrs knock it back and wash it down. You don't want to know the unpleaseant things I've knocked back. But dire times call for dire actions. You go. Me now. Answer: Knew my laziness was good for something! Ok today i'll got started on some of the things you suggested, I mixed some of those spices together and knocked 'em back (ha!). Like you said, not very pleasant, but an easy way to ease my way toward the alky scale. I also just had a good look at that alkaline/acidic link which is also very helpful. Daaaammmnn everything I like can bring on the enemy. Beer, beef, chicken, pasta, cigarrettes, ganja...The only thing I enjoy more is what got me into this mess (ha). However, you seem like you got this virus in a headlock, so i'm gonna try some of your tips so hopefully I can get its foot off MY neck. I'll keep you posted! Thanks again for such a helpful reply, your a sweetie. Answer: YOu can have everything you wish even the sex, but all in moderation. Would stay off the beer though. Damn acidic, but then again once in a while and knock down some dreadful concoction later in the day to balcane it off. You sound like an interesting charcter. Male or female? Answer: Please be mindful of posting the same thing twice. Duplicate posts are not permitted because they clog up the forum and can make everything slower. If you need to reference it please use a link to the thread where it was originally posted ;) This article has been posted here also: Thanks, Shenda Answer: Sorry Shenda. Meant to have opened a new thread and done a reference from Negan's to this one. How do I remedy the situation.
