Question:
Okay... so, it's started to burn when I pee (that was my first symptom with my initial) and it's on fire down there. My 'entrance' itches like there is no tomorrow. Was thinking maybe it was yeast, and treated last night with Monistat 1... but no real relief. What are anyone's thoughts?? This is so damn frustrating! Am just curious if it's possibly the start of a second outbreak already - i just finished the initial a week and a half ago...:(

Good morning Adjusting.......I am sorry to hear about your discomfort. Answer could very likely be YES. Unfortunately. I had my first OB in April 07, took me a good solid 3 months to start to feel "normal" down there again. Never really did, and had my second OB three weeks ago. I am just starting to feel "okay" down there; let alone what the mental aspects of this virus does to me.

If you are new to this virus; I have read that it could take your body up to year to adjust, and fight this, build antibodies, etc. Up your intake of lysine and other vitamins to help speed up the recovery process.

My 2nd OB immediately followed my primary OB so it's definitely possible. Given your symptoms it sounds likely.

The only other thing you might watch out for is that sometimes when you pick up H you might also get out of balance in other ways (bacterial vaginosis, urinary tract infection, etc) ... so just pay attn to your symptoms. The crazy itching makes it sound awfully H like... probably a good idea to start OB treatment ASAP.
